With the development of modern economy, project management has been used more and more widely especially as creative management model. But it has not been made full use in native new product development yet. New product development has not been managed and monitored strictly according to project management characteristic and basic rule, which results in invalid investment and postponed cycle time. Combining new product development and project management to increase new product development capability has become an inevitable way for a company to achieve sustaining development and success.The thesis briefly introduces concept, process and basic theory of project management , combining with existed new product development problems in Electrolux, then redesigns the solution of development flow, target setting, scope management, organization structure and team building, which has been implemented in the thesis. Target setting based on new flow guarantees the matching between project target and company strategy; Managing check points decides the project scope and boundary, improve the estimation of expense, time and resource; Strong matrix organization setting ensures the balance and close cooperation among stakeholders; Team growth disclose helps to find out how to build up high efficient team and clarifies the project manager's responsibility who plays an very important role in project.The study achievement on Electrolux new product development project management will be instructional to other companies who also want to use project management tool to develop new products, which will be helpful to innovate and enrich the new product development project management.
