Application Of The System Layout Planning Theory In The Investment Casting Of Turbo Wheel Workshop

The application research on Facility Layout Theory in Manufacturing Industry is more common in mechanical machining and assembly companies. This thesis aims at studying the application of the facility layout theory in foundry industry, especially in investment casting.The core of the thesis is to adopt the SLP (System Layout Plan) to analyze the collected data of relevant products, manufacturing process and production material flow, combined with constrained conditions related of the new facility to plan the process layout of the workshop.
