As an information management system, ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) affects the projects of manufacturing corporation informationization in China. And the problems of ERP are concerned everywhere. But the status of ERP implementation projects is unsatisfying in China, and one of the main reasons is that people neglect knowledge transfer in ERP implementation projects. The implementation of ERP is a course of"knowledge transfer"in substance. Started with analyzing the content, character and significance of knowledge transfer in ERP implementation projects, the paper researches the two styles of knowledge transfer which are ERP supplier to corporation and consultation to corporation. And the paper puts forward a model of knowledge transfer capability assessment for ERP implementation projects.By analyzing the influencing factors of knowledge transfer which include knowledge owner, knowledge embracer, knowledge and context, and combining with the character of ERP implementation projects, we find out the key factors. Using the theory of BSC (Balanced Score Card), the paper puts forward an index system. Comparing with other evaluating methods we choose AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Progress) to weigh the value of the indexes and choose expert evaluation and the comprehensive evaluation based on multi-layer gray theories as the evaluation methods. The valuation can help corporation know the capability of knowledge transfer itself. Last using the method of radar chart, we can analyze the influencing degree of every factor which can let corporation find out the problems which affect the capability of knowledge transfer. At the end, a case study of A company is presented using above methods. The results of demonstration research show the problems of the company.
