Power generation equipment industry is always my priority to the development of strategic industries, After 50 years of development has created a Harbin, Shanghai, Sichuan Dongfang three major manufacturing bases of power generation equipment for power generation equipment on behalf of my own capacity, to equip our power industry made great contributions, but my generation equipment industry is still a great gap with the developed countries. My generation equipment industries upgrade their technical capacity not only to rely on their own research and development efforts, but should make flexible use of external technical knowledge and ideas recently to achieve a leap in technological development, based on the above perspective, the paper focus on power generation equipment industry growth path of technological innovation based on technological transfer.The first analysis of the technology transfer to the different ways by enterprises choose, absorption and application, and as a basis to integrate reorganization generating equipment industry technical capacity constituent elements, making generating equipment industry technical standards and technological learning capacity upgrade, thus pushing forward the entire industry of technological innovation. On this basis by generating equipment industry growth in two ways technological innovation then this article deals with the factors that affect the selection of technique innovation pattern in Power generation equipment enterprise. A three-dimensional space model of the selection of technique innovation pattern in Power generation equipment enterprise is presented, which is built up by means of SWOT (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats) and the two-dimensional SPACE (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats) coordinate; Finally in Harbin Power Station Equipment Group, for example, the analysis of its growth should choose the path of technological innovation, and technological innovations aimed at improving the Group of Harbin Power Station capacity problems given the response and recommendations.
