Based on the analysis and overview of related literature and research status quo in the virtual enterprises agile supply chain(ASC), this thesis is mainly concerned with several key enabled technology in ASC including , workflow management system supporting ASC and the application of agent in ASC. The thesis aims to provide theoretical and methodological guidance for ASC's research.On the basis of analysis the competitive environment of today's enterprises, this paper firstly discusses the origin of supply chain research and the emergence of ASC. The objective of the thesis is then pointed out, and the research frame is presented after the state of the art in ASC is reviewed.Multi-agent system (MAS) is an efficient approach to dynamic and distributed problem solving in the operation process of supply chain. The MAS organization architecture in the supply chain of district alliance business environment is discussed based on virtual agent federation. A MAS architecture model in supply chain system is established and the function of facilitator agent and Workflow engine has been emphasized in the model. Multiple upper-layer agent federations are designed to execute the complex system tasks and to implement the system functions. A MAS system framework which has the features of high reactivity, reusability, flexibility and reliability is proposed based on CORBA standards. Application of the said framework is introduced in a supply chain synergic business prototype system of district alliance. In a practical instance, based on mobile agent technology and driven by Workflow management system, the process of purchase negotiation with suppliers is described.Coordinated operation of networked-manufacturing system is established on the efficient platform of information transfer and sharing among cooperative enterprises, and reliable information system plays a crucial role in network environment. Several synergic decision-making problems and the characteristics of decision activities in networked-manufacturing system are analyzed firstly. A hierarchical conceptual model of decision-making information is presented. A DSS architecture model is illustrated and a framework of Networked-Manufacturing System Decision Support System (NMS-DSS) is proposed based on multi-agent system and data warehouse technology.The process of inter-organization synergic manufacturing in distributing environment can be managed by workflow technology effectively, but distribution of dynamic production resource is one of the key problems in Workflow Management System (WfMS). Process management based on WfMS in inter-organization synergic production is described. A resource distribution method based on banker algorithm in WfMS is proposed, and the algorithm model which aims to improving the rate of usage is created.
