The electrical industry is a basic backbone of the nation's economy, which provides energy for the economy system while subject to it. The electrical industry's development is directly related to the national economy and society's sustainable development. So it is necessary to study the electrical industry's sustainable development for the economical and social meanings. The electrical grid company's sustainable development is a crucial chain of the electrical industry's sustainable development, thus it is valuable for the grid company to study how to analyze and evaluate the grid's sustainable development level.This paper completed the concept of the electrical grid company's sustainable development through the analyzing the sustainable development concept and fixes its meanings and content. Then it instituted the index appraisal system for the grid company's sustainable development combining its characters. This paper has put forward a new method for calculating the index's weight coefficient which combines the G1 method and entropy method. It has also improved the TOPSIS method and made use of them in the actual evaluation.
