Research On Telecommunications Equipment Industry International Competitiveness Based On Technology Innovation

Along with the rapid development of Knowledge Economy and Information Technology, the international competitiveness has become the fundamental strength that determines the competition result. The researches on the international competitiveness had already become focus by many governments, administrations and academies. But most of it was concentrated on the national level; the research on industrial was few, especially for specific industry rather than on the macroeconomic. Telecommunications Equipment Industrial which is an innovation-driven industry, it as one of China's high-tech industries has strong impact on growing of the national economy. So this thesis select of Telecommunications Equipment Industry as object, studying its international competitive in order to evaluate our local enterprises in international market, judge industry competition at home and abroad. On the basic of these, we can do more to enhance the industry's international competitiveness.The thesis analysis the impact factors of the telecommunications equipment international competitiveness using the "diamond model", based on the review of existing international competitiveness of the research results and the characteristics of this industry. The result is technology innovation factor is the most crucial factor. Then study the internal relation between technological innovation and industrial international competitiveness. Next the evaluation indexes system of industrial international competitiveness based on the technological innovation is founded and then the evaluation methods are established. The methods include the fuzzy mathematics evaluation method and AHP. The communications equipment manufacturing international competitiveness is 65.22%, which shows that our industry is at the high stage of development, having the great potential for competition. Finally, analyzing the present situation of this industry and raising the Countermeasures, such as establishing a sound national innovation system and upgrading the capability of independent innovation, strengthening the comprehensive innovations.
