Study On The Construction Cost Management System In China

As deepening of development of economy, the construction industry has become pillar industry of national economy in China. As a significant aspect of construction management, the construction cost management is facing new challenges. And further innovation of national economic system further demands innovation of the construction cost management system.The paper analyzes existing construction cost management system in China in aspects of policy and legal system, investment system, valuation model and valuation basis, and then points out problems. According to frame of construction cost management system, the paper studies policy and legal system, investment system, valuation model, valuation basis and market access system etc. in developed countries, and then compares them with those in China. Finally the paper brings forwards revelation of these successful experiences.According to comparison of construction cost management system between China and developed countries, the paper summarizes present situation of the construction cost management system in China, respective characteristics in China and developed countries and commonness. Combining present developing stage, the paper then brings forward suggestions which refer to the policy and laws, investment system, valuation model and basis and market access system so as to improve the construction cost management system in China.
