Research Of Supply Chain Integration Platform Under Asymmetric Information Environment

With increasing activities of China in the global economic field, Chinese economy has achieved significant development during these twenty years. Stable political environment, positive and flexible policies for foreign investment and cooperation, and long term and effective controlling on inflation lead China to get more competitive advantages and good reputation in the global market. However, China also needs extensive communication and experience to build advanced international business patterns. Especially nowadays, with broad invention and application of information technology and other scientific technologies, the social productivity still consistently getting increase, which result in that the traditional business pattern can not meet the requirement of globalization and has to get revolutionary change. Currently, how to effectively collaborate information with supply chain management is being a critical topic, which will be one of the determinative factors that can induce Chinese enterprises to get international competitiveness. This thesis is based on this background, and emphasizes on how to apply the relevant knowledge of Game Theory to the following three parts: How to choose cooperative partners within the supply chain platform; How to organize the whole chain operations and efficiently information integration among the cooperative partners in supply chain; Find out critical factors that affect the supply chain management due to the exists of asymmetric information environment, and finally provide the feasible proposal.After widely researching and studying, the author thinks the solution of building high integrating platform of supply chain system, the basic task is still keep on the oriental idea of focusing on information integration, especially for the current situation of the still unsuccessful combination of the information theory and supply chain management worldwide. To get the objective of complementing the high integrating platform of supply chain, this article considers that one of the efficient methods is to use all the relevant theoretical knowledge of other subjects. Basing on the deep research of supply chain management, this article puts forwards the following creative opinions.1. Putting both the theoretical concept and model of Information Theory in Game Theory and AHP metod to the practical case of the evaluation and choice of supply chain partners.2. Through more innovative analysis of Strategic Alignment Model and"Shenzhen Ap88.com E-Business Limited", this article provides the concrete and practical methods and experience for information integration of the supply chain management.This article focuses on the how to reduce the negative effects of asymmetric information in the supply chain management and providing the effective methods of building the high efficient supply chain platform by using the following five chapters.Chapter One"Introduction""Briefly introducing the background, relevant papers, current situation and significance of this article; then designing the basic objectives, contents and framework of this thesis"Chapter Two"Introduction of Basic Research and Relative Methods of Supply Chain Management"In this chapter, the article firstly introduces the concepts, contents and main characters of supply chain management, especially in how to evaluate the supply chain partners by using AHP method and relative concepts and model in Game Theory, and breif methods of information integration in both organiztion restructure and supply chian collaborative management.Chapter Three"Building of Supply Chain Platform""Using the relevant theory and models of information within Game Theory to the real business field, especially in the supply chain partners'evaluation and selection."In this chapter, the article firstly introduces the basic theory and models about Information in Game Theory. This article also uses the convincing example in the manufacturing industry to show the importance of information stream in the whole supply chain platform. On one hand, this example can prove the negative effects of asymmetric information; on the other hand, this example shows the information sharing will build the stable foundation for the long term run of supply chain management.In the last parts, the author uses theses models in the real business field, and finally points out the methods of using the theoretical models in Game Theory to solve the real life problems.In conclusion, this chapter wholly grasps the idea of building the supply chain platform. Firstly, the significance of scientific methods in the evaluation and selection of supply chain partners part.Chapter Four"Information Integration in Supply Chain Platform""Using two international examples two show the success of the whole supply chain system by using the information integration strategy."The creative point in this chapter is using the"Strategic Alignment Model"to the real supply chain developing process. In this part, the author deeply analyses the four main models show how to integrate Business Strategy, Information Strategy, Organization Structure and Information System Structure four main critical parts in the integration of supply chain management. Without knowing the real objective of information development, the supply chain can not gain distinctive advantages in the competition and will have to pay large cost for this obscure plan. Hence, this part can help the enterprises and supply chain system to know the real way to design it information integration routine, to make the objective clearer and the governance more effective.Secondly, using the"Shenzhen Ap88.com E-Business Limited"to prove the success of the information integration will finally benefit the enterprises in the supply chain management, and will provide positive help in the evaluation and selection of supply chain partners and the collaboration of supply chain management.Hence, this chapter provides the useful methods for the supply chain information integration. On the other hand, this chapter also points out the electronic business is not the only way to achieve the information integration. The enterprises can also work with the professional information technology service companies together to get this integration objective. This opinion will be discussed in the fifth chapter.Chapter Five"Conclusion and Forecast""In this part, the author generalizes the main creative points and conclusion for this article and makes the positive forecast for the development of supply chain management and the next deeper analysis around this article, especially in the evaluation and selection of supply chain partners and the collaboration of supply chain management two parts."Firstly, this part points out that there is no problem in techniques for the Chinese enterprises to build the highly effective supply chain platform. However, the main obstacles are how to get the right way to develop the supply chain system and how to realize and deal with the real problems during the process of building the supply chain platform. Hence we need use all the relevant knowledge, like Economics, Business Management, Information Management and Systematic Management and so on , to the platform building process of supply chain in China.On the other hand, the author considers the final supply chain competition will finally lead to the value chain competition. No matter products or services, the final competitive advantage will be the core advantages of their core value and how to maximize the core value of these products or services. From the raw material supplier to the core enterprise in the supply chain system, including the research and development department and the final distribution channel, every partner will finally contribute its value to this product and service. Hence, it provides us a good direction, which is notifying the importance of the value chain management and try best to maximize the value the whole value chain. Only in this way, Chinese enterprises can get the advantages in the international competition. Value chain is the foundation of the core advantage and comes from the information integration. Hence, enterprises should focus on the highly efficient information integration and use it as the basic methods to find out the right way to develop the high integration platform of supply chain management. In conclusion, this thesis uses the relevant theory in Game Theory to the real process of supply chain platform building, points out the negative effects of asymmetric information and provides the systematic suggestion, analysis tools and experience in this integrating platform building process especially fitting for the current supply chain management situation in China.
