Due to the high-speed development of market economy activities, enterprises except to maintain its current position, also want to get a chance to expand.Merger and acquisition becomes a popular & effective way,but too many cases demonstrate a high failure rate in merger and acquisition activities. This is because merger integration is a complex project,it needs to pass through all the stages of merger and acquisition process, just only one part is not done well, may seriously affect the anticipated result from the merger and acquisition project,so that post-merger and acquisition integration process is very important to the success of the project. The design of integration model is a key component of the design of merging and acquisition strategy. It determines the direction and scale of the integration,a key factor leading to the success of the integration Process and directly affect the integration results.During the capital market economy, merger and acquisition integration is focus on integration of tangible assets, but in today's knowledge base economy, the focus is shift to integration of intangible assets and its success or failure gradually occupy a very important position in the integration process. This thesis takes MA Company's post-merger and acquisition integration occurred in year 2005 as a case study.Focus on the selection of integration model for intangible assets and all the difficulties they faced during the integration process as a base to make analysis and comment on the correctness of model selected how to affect the performance of merger and acquisition results.Wishing to indicate that each merger and acquisition case is unique, select an appropriate integration method should base on the background of each case, not just blindly apply theories or copy other success cases.
