Knowledge Economical Age, it is employee's competencies that decide the success and failure of High-technology Company, because these competencies staff owned can produce higher working performance and which bring more and more benefits for company. Then what competencies are these high performance staff possessed? To HR manager, how to percept and train the employee's competencies? Proved by practice, Competency theory is the effective method to deal with such problems.The article basing on Y company, detailed the stem and development of Competency theory and summarize the characteristics of the high-technology companies and their human resources. According to the job responsibilities of the key positions in high-technology Company, it analyzes the competencies standards of the staff who are senior managers, technological staffs, marketing staffs, supporting management staffs and new employees. Further more, the article also makes a set method of building Competency Models for High-technology Company based on the competency model principle. And in light of the ways and Y company HR strategy, it also builds up a Competency model of technology staff for Y Company. The researching achievement of the article is to provide one effective perceptive and professional tool of human resource management for Y Company, and which is one building competency Guide for High-technology enterprises.
