Synthetic Evaluation And Diagnostic Analysis On Quality Of Urbanization

At present, China's urbanization facing a mammoth historical social transforms of structure and already has entered into the period of upgrading. However, during the urbanization level rising, there are some contradictions between the tendency of urban residents and the city social economy development and bearing capacity, for instances: the lag of city's infrastructure construction, the undergrading of the quality of urban resident's life, the packed transportation, the social security systems are not perfect, the unemployment rate stays at a high level, the seriously problem of the nature resources consumption, the destroying of ecological environment, the disparity expansion between city and countryside and so on. These problems bring some unharmonious factors to our society. All these indicating our country's urbanization quality is quite low, Therefore, when raising the urbanized level, we have to enhance the urbanization quality, it is extremely vital and significant to social economy development during the 21st century. Therefore, it is essential to establish appraisal system, the method of urbanization quality, and the scientific quantification, appraises our country urbanization quality actual condition. Providing the scientific basis and the rational theory to promote our country's urbanization advancement and improve our country urbanization quality.About the urbanization quality's research, the focus is laying on elaborating its significance or discussing the enhancement urbanization quality from the qualitative aspect, however, the quantification analysis on the urbanization quality is little. Therefore, this topic from the science development view angle, bases on two aspects of the city development quality and the city and countryside coordinated development quality, constructs the urbanization quality appraisal system and model, take Jiangxi Province as the example, conducts the diagnosis research on the urbanization quality, and proposes countermeasures to improve the urbanization quality in Jiangxi Province.The study is extremely significant to promote our country region coordinated development, speed up the urbanization advancement, impel the urbanization healthy development, construct harmonious social and the socialism new countryside. This thesis has six chapters:Chapter one: I have conducted an extensive literature review with highlights on background and significance of my research on urbanization and its evaluations.Chapter two: Various theoretical definitions on urbanizations are reviewed.
