Project Management Contract ("PMC") model is becoming more and more popular in the project management. Since 21 century, with the introduction of PMC model, the industry of construction in China experienced great changes and more and more employers of large-scale construction projects are in favor of this kind of management model.After a detail analysis on the fossil fuel power plant in Shan county and a brief introduction on PMC, we analyze the character of schedule control management and schedule plan, and demonstrate the application of key path method, S curve method and weighing setup method etc. in PMC, then put forward the suggestion to achieve PMC schedule target on the possible risk during the schedule management.Under the PMC model, the project is divided into two different but consecutive stages to carry out (i.e. FEL stage and EPC implement stage). PMC refers to all management activity during the whole project.PMC emphasize to set up the integral PMC organization system, core management team to control the schedule, and a project manager in charge of core project schedule to provide effective guarantee for the project's schedule and control.During the prophase of the project, with the establishment of WBS, OBS and code system, the effective communication among the employer, PMC contractor and other contractors can be achieved, and a uniform code system is provided for the schedule, cost and resource projection which can provide a interconnection and platform for schedule control and control management through network.
