Study On Developing Strategy Of Weifang Luyang Transport Co. Ltd

Designing a systemic development strategy is very important and urgent for every corporation if they want to gain long-term exist and continuance development in the fury competitive edge and complex market .However, as a medium-sized shareholding entity transformed form a state-owned transport enterprise, Weifang Luyang Transport Co. Ltd. hasn't had a systematic strategy yet. The aim of this dissertation is to draw up the corporate strategy on the base of its internal and external environment analysis so as to improve the efficiency of management decision-making. This thesis will be of realistic significance for the long-term development of the company and also be of reference values for other transport corporations in terms of strategic analysis and design.By combining theory with practice and quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis, along the train of thought of raising,analyzing,studying and solving the problems, this dissertation first focused on the problems in the corporation's strategic management and made a lot of detailed researches. And then , based on the analysis of the corporation's macro-environment with PEST method as well as the business environment of road transport industry and with SWOT method put forward a development strategy for the corporation. Divided the implementation of the strategy into five steps and pointed out main tasks for every step. In the end, the writer put forward six measures to ensure the implementation of the strategy, i.e., organizational and structural reform, development of human resources, establishment of a study-oriented organization, IT development, accumulation of social capital, fostering of core capabilities.
