Port is the connecting link between land and sea, and a country's strategic resources. Modern ports of the country lies not only in its contribution to economic development through the promotion of foreign trade and transport functionality of the growth but also in its contribution to the promotion of industries, services etc, improve the outside world, enhance the regional economic power and other aspects. As an important component of the marine economy countries, port economy relying on the port will be the focus of future research and development. Deep study of port economy theory can contribute to playing a central role in the economy and the leading role of the port, thereby promoting economic development. Rapid port economy growth has deep-seated theories. In this paper, I will explore the theory of entropy, the growth pole theory, the theory of external and transaction costs, transportation costs theory, and analyze the internal mechanism of the port of the existence and development of port economy. The development of port economy in the industrial structure adjustment, stimulating the regional economy, agglomeration and the realization of various aspects such as technology users can play a good role.. Port plays very significant role in the course of rapid economic development, and gradually formed the three major ports. This led to local and radiation regions in the development of series industry chains, is forming a "Port Economy" effect.The development of any economy is not closed, there must be one or more ports and exchanges at home and abroad. Yingkou Port as the access to the sea of central city in Liaoning Group, play an important role in "the Shenyang economic zone" building. Yingkou Port has long history and geographical location, and is one of the nation's coastal hubs, the Northeast's second largest port, the most convenient outlet of Liaoning central city group and northeastern provinces. Yingkou Port's special geographic position and its export-oriented economic advantages make it the outlet of the zone. This literacy uses Factor analysis to analyze the competitive power and advantage of Yingkou Port by choosing correlative factors.
