| Along with the integrative development of global economy, how to get the advantages in the keen competition becomes a very real question to all of the enterprises. From many practical experiences of developed nations, effective supply chain management will greatly help on cost control, efficient resources utilization, service level improvement and benefit increase. More and more enterprises turned to use scientific supply chain management to become the winner of the international market in this competition.In this thesis, the author applies logistics management, supply chain management and parts integration management theories approach to the situation before and after outsourcing of Applied Materials Co., spare parts warehouse, and adopt both theoretical and demonstrable methods to implement a particular analysis and explanation on the supply chain management and the necessity, relative theories, managing process and service level evaluation of outsourcing. Also, in the thesis, the author analyzes the main reasons which influence China enterprises logistics outsourcing and provides the concrete suggestions.First, the thesis introduces the overall definition and functions, structures of logistics and supply chain. Then, the author indicates the parts integration management which included its basic ideas and abilities of Applied Materials Co., by using logistics supply chain management theories. After that, on the theoretical bases, the author explain the whole logistics management processing line which included order management, plan and stock management, import and export, delivery management, and also analyze the changes before and after logistics outsourcing.Finally, the author looks into current situation of logistics outsourcing in China, points out factors restricting its development, indicates the advantages to Applied Materials Co., after logistics outsourcing and provides suggestions and right treatment on this topic. |
