Study On Population And Sustainable Development In Northwest Ethnic Region

Sustainable development is a brand—new theory, it needs to constant improve development and strength. The effect what the population has influence on sustainable development, also needs to constant study and discuss, this not only is the need that the theory of sustainable development is constantly improved, but also is the need of the theoretical basis when it is putting into effect to sustainable development and formulating the population countermeasures. The domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of on them and put forward many high—quality achievements. This paper is on the basis of them, and selects northwest ethnic region as the study object, and uses analytic methods that combines the quantitative and qualitative tools, and analyses the feasibility that the population, natural resource, environment and ecology can be sustainable developed objective and completely, and deeply study on the real circumstances in according to northwest ethnic region, and puts forward the population strategy about sustainable development. This paper includes six chapters:The first chapter, on the basis of reviewing the relative theory about sustainable development in resent years, discusses and sums up the relative viewpoints for this paper. The second chapter expounds the present situation of northwest ethnic region and the relations between the population and sustainable development from three aspects that is natural resource, environment quality, and ecosystem in northwest ethnic region. The third chapter discusses the pressure what the population quantity brings to natural resource, environment and ecosystem on the basis of analyzing the population in northwest ethnic region in detailed. The fourth chapter explained the influence what the population quality has with natural resource, environment and ecosystem after making clear the present situation of the population quality in northwest ethnic region. The fifth chapter studies the present situation of the population structure, analyzes the relation between the age and industry structure of the population and sustainable development. The sixth chapter puts forwards the population strategy countermeasures that making northwest ethnic region sustainable developed from several aspects those are appropriate controlling the population quantum, improving the population quality and optimizing the population structure according to problems what have be mentioned above all.
