Northwest Ethnic Regions Poverty And Its Anti-poverty Mechanism Under The Conditions Of Resource And Environmental Constraints

Since the21st century, it seems apparently that Chinese poverty becomes increasinglyconcentrated in the Northwest Minority Areas. In the meanwhile the Northwest MinorityAreas, the most acrid and sustaining fragile ecological environment, are increasingly kept bythe limited resources as well as harsh circumstances from developing economics. It isimpending to take measures to solve this problem. Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture and Ningxia Xi Haigu district are typically areas locatedin the Northwest Minority Areas where minority consist a great percent, and these areas arerecognized as seriously severe in poverty. These areas reflect the poverty problem in theNorthwest Minority Areas, they always suffer a badly poverty because of the limitedresources. In this circumstance, how to take imperative steps to enhance the economics andthen carry out what anti-poverty mechanism assisting in reverse the adverse surroundingsbecome critical issues for me and other scholars.I choosed the poverty problem in the Northwest Minority Areas as the object exploitingamounts of bibliography, empirical analysis, comparative analysis, etc., to delve into theseaspects:First, I reviewed the researches about domestic and foreign poverty and provided anoutline for the history of Chinese poverty issue;Second, after analyzing the relationship of the resources and poverty I detailed the currentsituation of both in these areas;Third, meanwhile I exampled the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Linxia HuiAutonomous Prefecture and Ningxia Xi Haigu district which are recognized as seriouslysevere in poverty, resources and environments by describing the status of the economy andfeatures of poverty then analyzing the causes leading to poverty in these areas, studying thefactor of resource and environment limitation in depth;Fourth, along with this I concluded the disciplines of the anti-poverty movement in theNorthwest Minority Areas and then I listed the achievement we had gained in these areas aswell as foundd the defects of these disciplines;At last, I researched proposed relatively feasible research ideas of the anti-povertymechanism in these areas.
