Studies Of Abandoned Land In Northwest Ethnic Region Urbanization

In recent years, with the speeding up of urbanization process, more and more farmers migrate to the city which is lead to a large number of abandoned rural land. Farmland became drought in the cultivated land is not a new phenomenon in the field, it is a kind of behavior that extensive use of land and extremely not value the land, it may not only affect food security in China, but may also have serious impact on social and economic development. Research on the Northwest Ethnic Region desolation phenomenon appeared in the process urbanization will not only provide some constructive suggestions for the urbanization process in China, but this also has a practical significance for consolidation of China’s food security and agricultural foundation status. In this paper, starting from the Northwest Ethnic Regions, through the use of theoretical models in economics and political economy, using the model analysis, data collection and other research methods to analyze the Northwest Minority Region Urbanization of land abandonment issues and propose appropriate countermeasures and suggestions.Thesis mainly consists of four parts:the first part, mainly research the status of abandoned land in Northwest Ethnic Regions of China and related concepts defined. The second part, mainly use Western theories of economics and political economy to analysis the problem of abandoned land, which is the innovative place of this article. The third part, mainly analyzes the causes of uncultivated land in northwest area of china. The fourth part, I propose some policy recommendations of solutions to abandoned land in Northwest Ethnic Regions of China, which is the emphasis of this study.
