The Project Management Process And Implementation Strategy Analysis Of BSW New Product Development Project

It is well known that manufacture and sell products are the basement of company survival and development, and also the comprehensive output of manufacture system. All company goals, such as market share, brand value and profit are all depend on company product. If a company has a good and market well accept product, the company can have a fast development. Otherwise the market share of the company will drop down, this will lead to phase out of the company.Today, world technology changes daily, thus new product development cycle time can be reduced dramatically. The product preponderance of any company in anytime is only temporary and relative, some old famous companies are no longer successful. The loss of original product preponderance, no in-time new product or no market accepts new product is the root reason.From above, we can find new product development project has special importance for all companies. How to push the new product to the market before competitors by using limited resources is the most important thing of company top management team. Only by doing that, company market share, brand value and profit target can be fulfilled.This dissertation is based on the learning of modern project management theory and my 10 years new product development project experience in BSW (BSW household appliances Co., Ltd. Professional in manufacturing Siemens fully automatic front loading washing machine). Then we use real project example for analysis, make detail explain BSW new product development process. We also show the importance of new product development project management, project management skill used in BSW new projects, the critical items in the project and control method. This dissertation shows thenew product development situation and existing problem in BSW, make deep discussion on the background the problem and possible solutions, try to find a better project management mode and implementation strategy for BSW. It may have some reference value for new product development project of BSW and other household appliances manufacturer.At first, we make short introduction of project management definition and characters, talk about modern project management trend and typical character for new product project of household appliances manufacturer. Then we introduce the importance of new product development project in BSW, analyze the new product project management content, result and influence factors.Secondly, we introduce BSW new product development process and new product development project management mode. And we make deep analysis to 3 main problems in BSW new product development project: teamwork, communication and risk management. Then we make practical proposal concerning these problems and show BSW new product project implementation strategy.Finally, through introduction of one big BSW new product development project (new electronic control wash dryer project), a clear picture of BSW new product development project management mode is illustrated.
