Study On The Development And Strategy Of The Foreign Trade Flows Of China

Since the reforming and opening up, China foreign trade has undergone tremendous changes in the flow patterns. The trade flow has transferred from developing countries to developed countries, and the EU, the USA and Japan have become the first third trading partners. This concentration of trade flows has brought a favorable impact on China's foreign trade.However, if China will be doing trading with several fixed countries and regions, then it will increase the risks of foreign trade, and weaken the flexibilities and competing power. So China should explore new more markets. Since 1990, China has come up with the strategy of market diversity, and made some success to some extent. So far, China has developed the trading relations all over the world, the number has reached 300 countries and regions. Whatever, the developed countries are still the major important markets. Obviously, the world markets will not be really decentralized it dependents on the inner economic powers between countries. With the updating and changing in exporting product structures, china's trade flow will be diversified.In this paper, I select China's foreign trade flows as my research direction. Firstly, from the angle of world, the paper generalized the major characteristics and developing trends of international trade flows, meanwhile, specifically analyzed the applications of the theory of trade flows that can provides guidance on China. Then, From China's perspective, the paper also discussed and studied the evolvements and trends of the Chinese foreign trade in flow patterns. Moreover, it also further analyzed the major factors which have influences on china's trade flows. The factors includes economy,geography,policy,system and FDI factors. What's more, from the compare and analysis between China and developed countries and China and developing countries in foreign trade flows, it comes the conclusions that China's position in the international division of labor decided the development of China's foreign trade flows. Therefore, China must actively and initially put itself into the international divisions of labor, and try its best to improve the positions in the divisions of labor, and adjust and optimize the diversity strategies in foreign trade flows. Finally, based on the characteristics and problems in China's foreign trade flows, the paper has also brought forward some polices and advices for references, so that it can promote China's foreign trade to a more rapid, healthy and sustainable development.
