As services of logistics is the"Third Profits Sources"in the westward developed countries. There, after the introduction logistics theories to China in 1980's, Chinese government and enterprises paid unprecedented attention to logistics. With the more and more companies of logistics, the more saturation marketing of basal logistics services (as transport and storage and so on), the more rigor of demand to logistics services, the value-added logistics services is a newly developed industry. Much data show us that the value-added logistics services are key source of revenue and the key loop of development. So no matter academic circle or enterprise give fervent attention to it.This thesis divides into five chapters. Firstly, founding on domestic and overseas research, it brings the value-added logistics to logistics establishments and separates for manufacturer and companies of logistics, explains that the angle of view and method of research is different from past, brings forward theory significance. Secondly, the status of manufacturers and logistics enterprises on value-added logistics services are introduced in quantify, then it think that with the influence on system of planning economy, large-scale manufacturers and professional logistics enterprises also were seized of many kinds of logistics establishments, but a little using, and the function of logistics is few, the value-added logistics services is weakness in logistics enterprises, which arose the high cost of logistics and hold back the development of companies. Thirdly, based on the questions and result, it should research how to develop value-added logistics services foundation on logistics cost, then operational research and regression model are exerted to set up the models and to propose some suggestion and policies based on questions, direction of developing and implement, so it brings forward practice significance. Lastly, with the analysis of one manufacturer, it sums up the experience that with the center of port logistics, manufacturers of port should exploit other operations to develop the services. All of that can direct other companies.
