Research On Developing Wood-Biomass Pellets In Chinese Rural Area

Energy is an important basic of society development. With industrializations development and population increasing, human demanding to a large number of energy and big scale exploitation and consuming to energy, which cause to weaken resource base and pollute environment. So developing renewable energy is very important at present. The traditional energy combustion is mostly for cook and warm in Chinese rural place of 0.9 billion people. As the main resource, stoner and firewood are combustion directly but inefficiency. And it will cause the damage of environment we cannot neglect. At the same time, the exploitation and utilization of biomass energy is still in the early stage. Our country has not enough understanding to wood-biomass energy, including the properties of renewable, convenient and clean. So the wood-biomass energy is suitable to be used in rural place of China and it can replace the traditional combustion. That will confirm the requirement of new socialist countryside.Through the survey and analysis of energy consumptions in rural areas of China, the thesis tried to find out the features and the problems of energy consumption for non-production purpose, and then explain the advantages and significances of developing wood-biomass pellets. In the thesis, the author analyzed the resource condition, product skill and economic feasibility of wood-biomass, then find out the barriers in developing the wood-biomass pellets. At last, the author gave some suggestions to accelerate the development of wood-biomass pellets, based on the development of renewable resource and the environment of forestry policy.
