The Analysis Of Tacit Knowledge Converting Pattern In Enterprises

Through thousands of hundreds of tens years, knowledge is just like a bright beacon illuminate the lost people in the dark boundless sea. Just as Francis Bacon said,"Knowledge is strength."With the time flowing, people have developed the ideas of knowledge. In 1990's, historically, knowledge has been added into the regular essential factors of production (capital, soil, labor) and became the vital fourth factor. It is the first time that knowledge gets rid of spirit fields and stalks into the material worlds.Today, with the high developments of global economy, we are gradually stepping into a knowledge-leading century. There is no denying saying that knowledge is changing every aspect of our life. Furthermore, people have been aware of the important role of knowledge management in the whole operation of the enterprise, even the whole society. In addition, the converting between explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge occupy a pivocy position in knowledge management. In other words, a enterprise core capacity of competition is up to its degree of innovation and the innovation of an enterprise depends on the extent of the converting between explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge..The rapid expanding of information technology makes the knowledge's rangements, forms, and scopes changed a lot. In a lot of enterprises, the management of knowledge capital is far from managing by one's head. Therefore, how to establish an effective studying mechanism to fulfill the converting of explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge is becoming the most urgent issue in the operation of the enterprises.Meanwhile, with the appearance of computer science, the classification of explicit knowledge is endowed a new meaning by the age. From the angle of knowledge management, explict knowledge can be divided into two sorts. On one hand, we name it coding explicit knowledge which are coded in the computer by professional person such as the information system knowledge. The traits of this sort of knowledge are rapidity, flexibility, easy accessibility and large capacity but it limits on the traits of unsteadity, complexity, and long process of system exploring. On the other hand, it is named non coding explicit knowledge which is not coded by computer. For example, we get the knowledge from reading books, face to face communicating and so on. The traits of such knowledge are steady, communicative and quickly reactive but they are not comprhensive and fresh enough to the receiver at the same time. Because of the advantages and disadvantages of the two kind of explicit knowledge, this paper will further discuss how the two factors combined together to push the converting of tacit knowledge.Moreover, traditional information management mostly focuses on managing and organizing explicit knowledge but not tacit knowledge . However, the work and creation of the personnel in a specific field as well as the operation and management of the enterprises depend mostly on tacit knowledge. Moreover, the application of information technology can effectively improve the collection, transactions, storage, and transmitting of tacit knowledge. Yet, how to change the web and internet into a perfect platform of the converting is the utmost importance in knowledge management.Therefore, the scholars in and abroad pay a lot of attentions on tacit knowledge management and have contributed some results. Whereas, they still do not have the consolidate connotation of tacit knowledge and the complex converting process between tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge. Therefore, it is meaningful to further study and discuss the converting between tacit knowledge and explicit of knowledge.The converting of tacit knowledge is the key of enterprise knowledge management. Based on the ideas and principles of SECI pattern and the classification of explicit knowledge under knowledge management, from the angle of individuals and organization of the enterprises, this paper design a new pattern to further analyze the converting of tacit knowledge in enterprises, puts forward several suggestions to the construction of the enterprises.For the sake of the above mentioned, this paper will further discuss the converting process from the angle of the pattern of converting between explicit and tacit knowledge.
