It is engaged in the trade -- that is, the target of commodity exchange is material products (as a commodity material products) such as physical commodities and labor, science and technology immaterial product etc;it is the realization of commodities transfer from production to consumption areas ; the purpose of operating is to take profits and obtain the greatest possible economic benefits.The economic ties of the overall socio-economic life will depend on the trade bond, no trade and commodities circulation, the entire socio-economic ties will be interrupted, no trade intermediary position into full play, reproduction of the whole community is going to block. Especially in the current area, with social and commercialization and modernization development, trade ties will become increasingly prominent role. The development of the national economy or not, of course, depends on the development of social production, only the development of production, the entire economy can be fully developed, but if no trade intermediary position into full play, this development is not possible without the development of trade, the economy is not robust economy ,is not healthy economy. In order to adapt to economic globalization and to the new situation joined the WTO, the report of the 16th Party Congress advanced more demanding to our country's opening up, adhering to the combination of the "bringing in" and "going out", comprehensively improving the level of opening up and making full use of international and domestic markets, vigorously developing foreign trade.Currently domestic scholars for the development research of foreign trade still stay at the macros level of theory, with strategic studies of the external trade, the analysis of the prospects for foreign trade and other aspects is basically theoretical explanation and do not relate to model; And foreign trade and its impact factors demonstration analysis, the foreign trade and economic growth demonstration analysis, total foreign trade import and export forecasts demonstration analysis simply established the model and demonstrated the results ,did not draw a right conclusion to the overall development of foreign trade ;the sustainable development of foreign trade index system has not yet been evidence , foreign trade analysis in Jilin Province was not very well achieved. At present, Jilin province's foreign trade development potential demonstration analysis has not yet been studied.In this context, the potential for the development of foreign trade Jilin research has become a serious problem. The potential for the development of foreign trade is very rich in content and the surface potential is the potential ability and strength. The potential for development of foreign trade is expected to be the foreign trade value of the exchange, External trade is trade for both of the potential benefits of foreign trade and trade activities in the future of internal development trend . The potential for development of foreign trade is not present in a sudden revolutionary activity, but in a series of persistent trade activities.Foreign trade development potential can be manifested in the import or export trade whether have the growth momentum or coordinated development the ability, but all influential factors in the process of the development of foreign trade also play a large role. Because evaluating the foreign trade development potential has made corresponding forecast not only to its own development of foreign trade also right to the role of evaluation to development process of these factors. If other countries are willing to trade with us or to invest, on the other hand, it indicates our foreign trade development potential. If other countries are not optimistic to our future prospects, despite the current level of trade fair being normal, trade is not a large room for growth. Perhaps in the near future it will decline and also reflects the potential for trade is not high. This shows that the foreign trade development potential periods analysis is very important. In addition, with the qualitative analysis to Jilin Provincial foreign trade and the development potential, we can find potential for the development of foreign trade has the following meaning: 1.The foreign trade development potential can be expected, trends can be embodied through import and export trade.2.The potential for development of foreign trade is obtained by the development process of foreign trade, in view of trade's superficies to predict potential for the development of foreign trade is not enough, also discusses the role of various factors in the course and development of these factors.3.Whether the foreign trade development potential into exchange capacity is easy is connected with foreign trade development stage. The more mature foreign trade, foreign trade development potential more easily defined, and the process of the foreign trade development potential into realistic exchange value is more easy to maintain.4.In the course of researching the potential, its own trend in recent years occupies dominant position, and the forecast is only short-term, after the affecting factors of the potential occupy a dominant position. Thus the article will ultimately analyses potential of in accordance with the law.From the perspective of practical significance to consider, the article takes analysis to all various indicators in the course of affecting Jilin Province foreign trade development and makes forecasts to their own external trade of Jilin Province. Finally, between Jilin province and the other two provinces of the three provinces in northeast,I will analyze with them.
