Present Poverty Situations In China Rural Areas And Tactics Of Anti-poverty

Poverty is a worldwide phenomenon. It's the result of imbalance development in economy, society and culture, nature environment's condition's drop-down and the difference in human individuals. China is a agricultural country and has 80% people living in the countryside. She also develops imbalance between cities and counties. Due to the reform and open policy, china rural areas' economy increase rapidly, but few districts because of the restriction in economy, society, history, nature and geography, develop not so well. The poverty problem is severe, esp. in rural areas.Poverty and anti-poverty is a would-wide problem and in the meantime is a long-term and difficult historical responsibility in the future process of china modernization construction. How to judge and do researches in our country's poverty problem and how to make the anti-poverty policy in the view of sociology is a problem needed to deal with.The thesis that so researches on china nowadays' poverty problem has reality importance. First of all, the settlement of countryside's' poverty problem is an important mark, which judges whether well-off society has been built. Secondly, it is the turning point and the key-point of solving other aspects in Chinese other reform problems. Thirdly, it helps to secure the society's stabilization, conformity, cohesion.,Meanwhile, this problem has deep theory importance. Firstly, this article focuses on the social problem and social concerning point and extends the area of sociology's research. Secondly, this paper has done well to the problem's theory research.The thesis has five parts besides the forward.The first part reviews the present national and abroad studies. The frame of theories and approaches of the research are revealed in this part.The second part tells us the debate of poverty notion, gives us the author's own idea about it, and talks about the characteristics and conditions in china's poverty countryside.The third part sums up the present poverty situation in rural areas, the reasons and the characteristics. It discuses the reason of the poverty in china's rural areas. One is bad nature environment and poor living conditions. Two is the confine of agriculture and the lack of internality motivation of countryside industry. Third is the negative effect of a long period of policy support. Four is the lower level of education and out-fashioned thought.The fourth part concludes a prevailing anti-poverty policy's advantages and disadvantages.The fifth part is about some policy suggestions: the countermeasures of anti-poverty policy in the near future.
