The thesis is focused on measurement about the level of county area urbanization. Its significance lies in puting forward a science measure method and establishing reasonable county area urbanization index system to complexly evaluate the quantity level, the quality level and the sustainable development level of county area urbanization for making up the shortage of the index system on domestic and international research through analysing present measure methods, which can provide science policy references for county government.1. Main Contents of StudyFirst distinguish several concerned urbanization notions and define county area town and town population. Through analysing present measure methods to find out the source of problem. Draw on previous research experience, establish a county area urbanization index system basis on quantity, quality and sustainable development, use AHP method and Del illegal to measure county area urbanization level,take Renshou county as a exmple. Finally put forward policy suggestions to measures county area urbanization level.2. In addition, some other single indexs used to reflect the level of urbanization development, such as the proportion of town economy, the town building area, town per-capita income of town employment, they can clear reflection of urbanization corresponding connotation and has a strong value when characterize urbanization in a particular content area, but this method can not reflect urbanization's overall connotation.(2) Urbanization is a compound conceptThe level of urbanization is a multidimensional concept and the result of various factors and phenomenons act commonly. Urbanization quantity indexs is the basis of urbanization development; Urbanization quality is the guarantee; urbanization sustainable development indexs is a follow-up force. Assess achievement of county urbanization, adhere to organic unity of county towns in speed and efficiency, quantity, quality and sustainable. However, the complex-Index method is less clear than single indexs. Therefore, when mesurein level of urbanization development, should use single index and complex index method(3) Renshou is on in the middle level of urbanization developmentRenshou urbanization level scores 41.5%, in the middle of early urbanization level. And contrasting with strong County, the gaps are small in quantity level and sustainable development level. The key is the quality of town development. Slow pace of economic development and seldom population are very difficult to achieve scale economies. Therefore, Renshou County should plan the "Industrial Enhance County " strategy and develop characteristic agriculture and service industryespecially tourism to accelerate the development of the Renshou county3.
