Each nation and region attach more and more importance to utility of land resource as well as management of land market in city. In order to manipulate the macroscopic land market development and ascertain the microscopic equality and type of specific plot, we must get full knowledge of land price and its overall trend of change. With the improvement of modern computer technology, it is possible and important to do quantitative analysis in stead of just qualitative analysis before on discipline of land value.This research therefore takes Shangrao City as a case study to explore the trends of land value in city. Firstly, in order to analyze temporal trend of land value, we collect as many as possible samples during 2001-2006 , take the initial analysis of samples, and then calculate average price within an area in allusion to different types of land use during each year. Secondly, on the base of plenty of samples, we measure integrated and classified index of land price in Shangrao on the law of averages. Thirdly, we introduce an interpolation method by year to attain max- and min-average price within an area during 1997-2000 and we do some exploration into the temporal disciplines of land value in Shangrao during 1996-2006. Finally we predict max-and min- average price of all types of land use in Shangrao during 2007-2010 by using the interpolation method. By exploring the disciplines of spatial structure based on the 245 samples in 2006 in Shangrao by Kriging interpolation on the platform of ArcGIS and create Land Value Digital Model which both macroscopic and local trends of the distribution of land value in Shangrao are analyzed.On the base of experiment results, spherical model and its interrelated coefficients are confirmed, and then Digital Land Value Model is created. The thesis opens out spatial charateristics of residential land by analysing isolines of land price, the overall changing trend is on the decline close to quoit from centre business district to suburbs; in the CBD,that isolines are dense suggests land value's quick changing ratio while that isolines are sparse suggests slow changing ratio.Profile Graph Titles in diffenrent areas are distinct because local changing trend of land value are not the same.There are 6 chapters in this research paper. Chapter One is the preface, contains background, contents , significance and methods of this paper; Chapter Two concerns the theoretical foundation of this paper; Chapter Three introduces general conditions of Shangrao city; Chapter Four expounds the temporal disciplines of land value in Shangrao; In Chapter Five the spatial disciplines of land value in Shangrao are analyzed specifically. The final chapter makes a conclusion of the study.
