Since the middle of 1990s, it has come five big M&A currents all over the word, M&A has already become a universal phenomenon. The main motive of enterprise M&A is to increase competitive advantage and to achieve synergy effects. Cultural synergy effect is one of these important effects.This paper systematically researches on cultural synergy effect in enterprise M&A from the angle of synergy theory. It takes cultural synergy effect as an independent synergy effect in M&A. On the base of relating research of other scholars, first, this paper tries to clarify the implication and intrinsic mechanism of cultural synergy. Next, it carries three-dimensional analysis about cultural synergy effect, and analyses the factors that affects cultural synergy effect from angle of synergy objects, synergy abilities, synergy behaviors; After that, approximately judge the possibility of synergy between the two though the research on cultural commensurability. It provides the basement that whether it will carries M&A and which target enterprise will be chosen; At last, this paper proposes counter measurements to achieve cultural synergy effect: Choosing suitable target enterprise before M&A; Positively carrying on the cultural integration after M&A; Formulating policy to stabilize human resources; Carrying on institutionalization of the new culture; Taking account of the function of unofficial organization. |
