Farmland Grading and Evaluation is one of the key work in The Ministry of Land and Resource's new round of land resources survey, and a foundation to implement the "Land Administration Law of the PRC". It takes the Farmland resources as the research object .The grading is a work considering all the natural and socio-economic attributes affect farmland, and dividing grades of farmland by synthetic quality difference. The valuation is a work evaluating farmland price on the basis of grading.Spatial Analysis is a technique which studies the geographic location and spatial distribution, and a process of Spatial Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery. The core theory is "the first law of geography", that is, all geographic objects are interrelated, and the degree of contact is associated with the distance. Kriging Interpolation, which is an important component of Spatial Analysis, is used to build a spatial model with sampling data and simulate the unknown area.Using GIS Spatial Analysis as an implement, this paper takes an Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA) on farmland price. Simulating farmland price distribution by Kriging Interpolation, this paper builds Farmland Grading-price model. Compared with traditional methods, it is more practical and operable. It also provides a new way for our country's farmland grading and Evaluation. The innovations of this paper are the followings:(1)Taking the GIS assisted ESDA techniques to extract spatial information on farmland price. We can change the traditional method of statistical analysis of farmland price study and acquire more price knowledge.(2) Through spatial distribution analysis and Kriging interpolation of farmland price, we can eliminate random and occasional small-scale differences in the farmland management. Compared with traditional methods, the new grading-Evaluation model is more practical and operable.(3) Kriging Interpolation and built farmland price model provide an intuitive and visual analysis tools for spatial distribution analysis of farmland price; and the model provided a good reference for building Farmland Grading Index System and determining factor weights...
