Knowledge Management In IT Projects

Knowledge management is the new branch of management model required by network economy. In the network economy era, knowledge acquisition, consolidation and integration of innovation will become a powerful force for the development of enterprises. However, since the concepts and theories of knowledge management have been there, A few researches have been done in this particular area combining with IT projects. How to apply knowledge management core processes with IT application and process have the theory and practice of double significance for those enterprises with innovative capabilities.Firstly, based on reading articles about knowledge management, Combining knowledge feature, Project Management of IT projects, this paper provides ideas for the development of enterprises, which are knowledge management promotes capabilities of technical innovation, establishes the core and long-term advantage competitiveness. Then after a detail analysis in knowledge management theory for IT projects management methods and integration processes, knowledge management frame for IT projects was built. The frame comprises core process for knowledge management and IT projects management using life cycle and knowledge structure for typical projects. It designs implementation plan and steps, explains the process of implementing measures to deal with possible risks, and finally proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the program by using enterprises cases.The main content of this paper is a deep analysis of knowledge management processes methods and techniques for IT projects. Meanwhile, comparing with management practices and experience in domestic and international enterprises, it comes to the key factors in the successful implementation of knowledge management, and demonstrates how the models and these cases using in the real cases. This paper is aimed at project managers who want to improve ability for technical innovation and value their management knowledge by providing knowledge management solutions and their implementation.
