The importance of knowledge resources in the development of enterprises is widely recognized, and knowledge management gradually becomes an important component of enterprise management along with the rising of knowledge-based economy all over the world,. As the main body of knowledge management, knowledge process becomes the key to many organizations to build their core competence. Previous studies focused mainly on the knowledge process model and their specific stages, and however, the studies on the knowledge process of the internal team of power design enterprises are still less reported. In this study, both theoretical and empirical research methods are used to investigate the knowledge process of an enterprise M.(1) The present theories and several major knowledge process models as well as some knowledge conversion and diffusion models are summed up.(2) By site-visiting and interviewing to the project team's working process of M, the project team's current knowledge process is analyzed. The knowledge flow model and the knowledge process model of power design enterprises are built up.(3) The four states and an inspection model for the knowledge process of the project team are established. The four states are tested with the measuring criterions, the level of the team-members' knowledge and team-knowledge sharing. And then the nodes of the process need to be improved are clearly detected. By means of decomposing the knowledge activities of the four sub-processes, the knowledge process of the project team of power design enterprises are analyzed.(4) By means of a regression analysis with the project team knowledge resources, members' knowledge level and of knowledge sharing level as independent variables, the effect of knowledge process of the project team as dependent variable, the influences of these independent variables on the efficiency of knowledge process are analyzed. And some suggestions for the knowledge management are provided to M power design enterprises.
