On the background of global economy, it's necessary for enterprises to enter the global market. As for the enterprises in Chongqing which is in the West part of China, it is more important to enter the international market which can attain international resource as well as international competition power.First, the character of the enterprises, the size of the enterprises and the entry mode chosen by the enterprises are analyzed by descriptions analysis method. The result indicates that enterprises in Chongqing enter the international markets mainly through export, that the majority of the export enterprises are medium-small and that the export products are the industry of manufacturing products.Second, the factors influencing export performance such as marketing factor, environment factor and strategy factor are analyzed by principal factor analysis method. The result indicates the marketing factor comprises price, product, advertisement promotion, and place, that environment factor includes political and the economical circumstance, geography and culture, and trade bulwark, and that the strategy factor involves export purpose, different product and price in different place and different promotion in different place.Third, the export enterprises are divided into good export performance and non- good export performance according to weather the export sales increase and weather the export enterprises get profits. The result of factor analysis shows that there are 10 factors instead of original 24 factors. Then the 10 factors are considered as independent variables and the export performance as dependent variable by logisitic analysis. The result indicates the marketing factor influences the export performance much bigger than the other two, that the strategy factor is the weakest that relationship between export performance and that among the 10 factors, the political and economical circumstance factor influences the performance strongest and the product factor is the weakest.Finally, it modifies the model according to the study results and gets conclusions. Also suggestions are given from three aspects for export enterprises in Chongqing: environment, marketing and strategies.
