A Factor Analysis And Empirical Research Of The Environment Of Attracting FDI In China

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has been a great power that we can't neglect during Chinese economy's developing. Since"opening to the outside world and reform", we have had a long improvement and a fast development in making use of foreign capital, foreign capital has been an important ways of developing economy and increasing participation in international trade gradually. Since 1993,we have been being one of the biggest countries in absorbing FDI, even sometimes we can over American, at the same time we are the biggest country in absorbing FDI in developing country. At the end of 2005,we have more than 500 billion dollars of FDI in china, FDI become more and more important for our economy. The different environment of attracting FDI is an important reason for influencing the distributing of FDI. Understanding the relation of many investment environment factors and FDI is helpful for the government to improve investment environment and develop national or regional economy bitterly.The paper, at the level of studying former-studiers'results and total amount analysis, studies the problem how some of our country's economy factors influence FDI from two angles of qualitative and quantitative analysis. The paper, at the basis of FDI influencing factor model, mainly use the ways of the combination of theory research and empirical analysis and the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, it also static numbers and graphs to study the problem. In empirical analysis, we use the numbers of recent 27 years in china to study the factors and certify the results by SPSS and EVIEWS soft wares; at the end we suggest some policy advice. The paper is trying to find policy theory basis of absorbing FDI suitably at the basis of studying FDI recent and future condition; it is also to study the china's absorbing FDI's specialties, possibility and obstacle factor at the basis of studying FDI inflecting factor system; at the basis of studying the experiences of the developing countries and developed countries, we try to find suitable policies in China, so as to provide the system guarantee for absorbing FDI.At the former studying, the paper has the conclusions: market factors or the economic factors that reflect GDP increase influence the FDI investing policy, infrastructure's investment influences FDI; labor force's function in absorbing FDI is obvious; The scale of economy opening is an important factor for absorbing FDI; The function of the accumulation FDI is outstanding; The function of the policy is very obvious in absorbing FDI.
