Human capital investment can boost economic growth. In recent years, females do more contribution to the society, and advancing female human capitalinvestment is an important part of social development. This paper, based on thecurrent situation of female human capital in China, after making a close analysisfrom the perspective of education, draws the conclusion that female human capitalinvestment is not as much as male's and female education is more focused on noschooling and primary school than junior secondary school, senior secondaryschool, college and higher level. This is evidenced by the quantitative analysis inthis paper. The reason for this problem is: female subjective consciousness ofinvesting human capital for them is not strong; imperfect social mechanism leadsto a low female human capital; it is believed that female does not need too muchhuman capital in the traditional culture. The correlation analyses on female human capital and economic growth showthat: they are closely correlated, and the correlate coefficient is bigger than male's;the shortening of educational level distance between two sexes is closely correlatewith the economic development; for each level of education, female regularsecondary school and higher education are closely correlated with the economicdevelopment; as for each level of educational attainment, increasing the proportionof female receiving college or higher level education and decreasing the proportion of female receiving primary school are closely correlated with the economicdevelopment. In addition, the benefits of female education not only can bemanifested in economic growth, but also can be observed in employment, familylife, and family education etc.Every investor should increase female human capital investment and shorteneducational level distance between two sexes. This is what the society demands, and the goal of social development as well. In this paper, it is suggested that moreattention should be paid to female higher education and junior secondary schooleducation; the female's consciousness of independence should be enhanced; thesocial mechanism for protecting female human capital should be improved; and theequality between two sexes should be advocated in the culture.
