The Basic Research On The Competitive Power Of Urban Tourism In Fuzhou

With tourism becoming the fastest industry around the world, the urban tourism becomes the main body of the modern tourism, whose development is being emulative accretion stage. Tourism competition elements are multiplex, so measuring the tourism destination must consider many factors synthetically. But the researches on competitive power of urban tourism just take its first step and need developing. In order to enrich this field, the author makes exact definitions of urban tourism and competitive power of urban tourism and makes deep researches on affecting factors, structures and evolution phases, through consulting many data abroad and domestic and applying the basic theories and methods of economics, urban science, tourism science and sustainable development. An index system of competitive power of urban tourism is set up it must comprehensive consider the related studies on competitions in tourist trade have gained much attention at home and abroad. Based on certain principles, AHP method is selected to evaluate competitive power of three cities Fuzhou, Xiamen and Quanzhou. The author compares competitive power of Fuzhou tourism with the other two cities' from several levels to find out the problems of Fuzhou tourism and proposes the measures to improve competitive power of Fuzhou tourism.
