A Study On Innovation Systems Of The Iron And Steel Industry In Hebei Province

At present, industrial development is facing intense domestic and foreign competitions, the industrial innovation and innovation ability has become key factors determining the differences in national strength and development level of regional economy. It is an important prerequisite for the smooth implementation of industrial innovation to set up a complete industrial innovation system. After many years of development, the output of resources, fund and technology-concentrated steel industry, as a backbone industry in Hebei Province has nationally reached No. one. The steel industry has played an important role in the provincial economic development. In terms of realistic condition, the steel industry in Hebei Province has formed an innovation system with its own regional characteristics. However, the innovation ability could not satisfy the demand of industrial development. The industrial development primarily focuses on scale expansion. There is still a considerable disparity with international advanced level on technical and material &energy consumption level. It has become an urgent task to comprehensively promote industrial innovation capacity, and enhance the enterprise competitiveness through establishment of innovation system for steel industry.This thesis firstly gives a literature summary on the study of innovation system, obtains the theory support and research method suitable for the analysis of steel industry in Hebei Province innovation system. Then, it makes analysis on the current condition of steel industry in Hebei Province, and provides construction goals for the perfection and improvement of innovation system. Based on the above analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis is made on innovation development level of steel industry in Hebei Province. The development level of innovation system for steel industry in Hebei Province is also evaluated by transverse caparison with national average development level and steel industry development in other provinces. In succession, it makes analysis and finds out problems on operating efficiency of the steel industry innovation system in Hebei Province Finally, based on the demonstration analysis and present development demand of the steel industry, suggestions are proposed for the improvement of steel industry innovation system.
