As the further reform of electric power system, NC power market changes from"seller's market"to"buyer's market". NC Power Supply Company (NCPSC) is facing a challenge on how to convert its ideas, how to explore and occupy market, so that it can survive and develop in the competitive environment, and meet the requirement of the developing economy and increasing living standard in NC district. Hence, studying the marketing situation and implementing positive marketing strategies become a vitally important work for NCPSC.NCPSC has been using the managing mode of planned economy in which the function of government and enterprise is closely compounded. It is lack of the awareness of market and service, and in want of a drive to enhance efficiency and to satisfy the customers. The thesis is based on the theory of modern marketing management and the analysis of characters of NC power market. In the thesis, I analyzed the trend of power system reform and development, studied the inner and outer situation in NC power supply marketing, and brought forward explicit and feasible marketing strategies.The thesis consists of five chapters.Chapter one: Introduction. Introduce the concept and function of electric power, characters of power supply company, overview of NCPSC, and the importance and necessity of establishing marketing concept for NCPSC.Chapter two: Expound the related theories of marketing strategy and its revelation to NCPSCChapter three: Analyze the inner and outer conditions for NCPSC to establish marketing strategy, including analysis of environment of power supply companies, analysis of competition, analysis of SWOT and STP of NCPSC.Chapter four: Establish marketing strategy in NC power supply market, including diverse service strategy, green marketing strategy, demand side management strategy and energy replacement strategy, etc.Chapter five: Discuss the related problems which should be considered in the implement of marketing strategies. Advocate the concept of marketing and do the further analysis and study. This is an innovative trial. The research result of the thesis must have an instructive significance to the operation, sell and service of NCPSC and other power supply enterprises.
