Along with economic development, scientific and technological progress, global economic integration and the advent of the knowledge-based economy era, the market environment which enterprises are in has become increasingly complex. This is mainly displayed in: product life cycle is becoming shorter and shorter; the demand for product delivery speed is increasingly high; there are abundant varieties of products; customers unceasingly enhance to the products and the service expectations. These all have increased the complexity of enterprise management. In order to succeed in competition, enterprises must cooperate with their suppliers, distributors, retailers and customers to obtain competitive advantage by creating a well-functioning supply chain.Based on the original types of products (functional products and innovative products) this thesis develops new types of products: standardized products, hybrid products and fashionable products, and it also points out the relationship among different types of products. This thesis makes a detailed study on different types of supply chains, and reveals the relationship among different types of supply chains, and then brings forward the matching model of supply chains and products. This thesis elaborates the nature of Lean Supply Chain, Agile Supply Chain and Hybrid Supply Chain with cases study. This thesis still introduces the strategies of supply chain management——Effective Customer Response (ECR), Quick Response (QR) and Postponement Technology (PT). At last this thesis designs a model of supply chain, which matches with product characteristics and management strategies. So this thesis provides a theory basis for enterprises to implement supply chain management fast and exactly.
