Post-Assessment Of IT Projects Using Group AHP And Fuzzy Mathematics

With the coming of the knowledge-based economy and information age, the importance of IT projects is emerging increasingly in the economic area of society. It is significative both on the theory and practice to post-assess IT projects effectively to measure and evaluate synthetically whether they are success, conclude experience and lessons, and improve the decision making and management of organizations by feedbacks. However, the post-assessment of IT projects is still a new research area and has many deficiencies both on the theory and practice. It needs further researches and improvements urgently.The thesis aims at establishing a post-assessment framework of IT projects using advanced evaluation ideas and mathematic methods, on the basis of developing the existing theories and methods of post-assessment of traditional and IT projects. The thesis studies, summarizes, and expounds theories and methods of post-assessment of IT projects; takes into account the characteristics and overall factors of IT projects and establishes a post-assessment index system model of IT projects, which is expected to be applicable and maneuverable for most IT projects, and can be improved, developed and transplanted according to actual circumstances; improves the methods of post-assessment of IT projects, researches the fuzzy group AHP, which is used to generate the weights of different criterion of the post-assessment index system, and is combined with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to derive the overall post-assessment result.The post-assessment model and method of IT projects given by the thesis can solve the problems in the process of post-assessment of IT projects effectively. It is expected that the thesis can provide references for future studies on theories and methods of post-assessment of IT projects, and post-assessment practices of our country.
