Build China's Geo-economic Security

Based on the comprehensive combination of the knowledge that concerns geo-economics, the article has managed to escape from the constraint of geo-politics in the past international relationship. The author not only analyzed China's economic security situation in Southeast Asia in a new prospect, but also realized that there has been great unstable factors existed in China's bilateral areas. And further explained that western counties' military surrounding and aggression on economy are the main reasons that led China into facing more unstable factors. According to the analysis, we are gradually coming to realized that China's geo-economic security in the Asia-Pacific region is mixed. We must make good use of favorable conditions, resolve conflicts, to create a favorable external environment for the peaceful rise of China.Part I the geo-economics and geo-economic securityGeo-economics is a theoretical pattern which appears in the international relations scholars' researching process .it adapt to the trend of the development of economic globalization and the establishment and development of the regional economic organizations and provide a new research means for us. And the geo-economic security as a new national security has also draw the attention of scholars.Geo-economic security is an important component of the national economic security. It is mainly involved secure problems in the economic activities of a country based on the geographical position, and the spatial distribution of economic relations with neighboring and regional economic unit .Geo-economic security of a country depends not only on its domestic economic development and stability, but also related to the relationships of neighboring countries which coming from the economic interaction.Due to the complexity of international relations, the various geographical position of different countries, caused the factors of the geo-economic security becomes very complicated. The changes of the international political situation, sudden fluctuations in the world economy and international events pose a substantial threat for the geo-economic security. In this part, mainly state the meaning of geo-economics and geo-economic security in order to illustrate the meanings used by the author.Part II The geographic ties between China and Southeast AsiaGeographically speaking, China and Southeast Asian countries has close geographic ties because China's southern borders Southeast Asian countries, directly with the countries bordering Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos and Cam And several other neighboring ASEAN countries are on the ocean, geographical proximity and economic contacts in China and Southeast Asian countries more closely. In today's globalized economy, led by a strong economy in the face of Western economic and political order, only in this way based on the consensus between China and ASEAN will join forces in order to play a greater role in international affairs.PartIII China's geo-economic security environment in Southeast Asia Construction in new eraIn the new historical conditions, how to build China's geo-economic security is very important. Although China's geo-economic security in Southeast Asian countries still have a lot of work needs to be done, Some even very difficult, but so long as the correct way to use an appropriate strategy, China will be able to do something in the Southeast Asian region. China's economy relies on the healthy development of the Southeast Asian region's development and stability. In order to gain a foothold in world trade China must also deal with the neighboring economic exchanges. To a large extent China's economic development need to rely on the Southeast Asian region. Only the good development and interaction in the region can make China move toward the world. If there is not a good surrounding environment or a geo-economic situation of China, China's economic development is very difficult. It is not very optimistic about the environment of China's economic security in the Southeast Asian region. Opportunities and challenges coexist. So we have a long way to build China's geo-economic security environment in Southeast Asia.PartIV Conclusions and Inspiration On the basis of the analysis of geographical position of China's Southeast Asian region, historical traditions and the factors related to the field, we think that the situation of China's geo-economic security in Southeast Asia is good, but which will be difficulties and setbacks. That requires us to size up the situation, take advantage of the favorable conditions and eliminate the unfavorable factors in order to strengthen the security in the Southeast Asian geopolitical and economic development. Southeast Asian countries are generally small and medium-sized countries; economic development in general is not very developed. Particularly since the economic crisis in Southeast Asia, China's influence in this region is gradually increasing. And as a responsible big country, China should make its due contribution in the region's economic, political and cultural exchanges and cooperation.China's development depends on the own development and power. Without a good domestic environment and a good trend of development in the domestic economy, China's geo-economic security will be impossible. from the perspective of the geo-economic security, to maintain good security in the geo-economic situation China should base on the good-neighborly and friendly relations with neighboring countries. On the basis of mutual benefit and a win-win situation for all-round exchanges with ASEAN countries in politics, economics, culture and other fields of comprehensive cooperation. Such geo-economic security between China and Southeast Asian countries is a powerful protection.
