The competition of the market is competition among enterprises and enterprises play the major role in the market competition to the enterprises. Competition among enterprises is after all a competition in human resources. It is critical to improve staffs enthusiasm and creation that enterprise strengthen human resource management, promote value of human resources and evaluate the staff and the contribution of staff. All these relate to the assessment of human resource management, which is fundamental to the human resource managementThe first chapter stated background, purport and purpose of this article. The chapter two provides the analysis on relevant theories on that performance appraisal and explains assessment of staffs performance, significance roles, and principles, as well as definition and requirement of the subjects, content, relevant methods and existing problems. The chapter three states XG Company as the instance, make simple introduction to XG, it includes purpose, subject, performance examining index etc. To analyze this company current staff performance appraisal system, point out its existing problem and deficiency. The chapter four relevant theories of utilizing the performance appraisal, combining the concrete state of XG company, it designs the performance appraisal system again, establish purpose, principle, and examining subject, etc. Combining the institutional framework and the post of XG Company especially, establish its key performance index, form more perfect performance examining forms and make it test in the company. Through the test, obtains result and make simple appraisal about it. The chapter five draws some experience and realization from designing the performance appraisal system, and from high aspect to analyze performance question. The performance appraisal system should be set up on enterprise's good management environment, should pay attention to managing the construction of the environment and including performance cultural environment, rewards and punishments mechanism environment, information environment, etc.At the same time, it dispels performance question appearing in examining. Making the performance examining improve staffs enthusiasm and satisfaction. On system construction that performance examining, it should accord the changing of environment, and take it change in good time, pay attention to the development trend of the theory about the performance examining, incorporate the new idea in the performance examining.
