The Research Of Constructing Water-saving Society In South East Of Fujian

The southeast of Fujian district includes five cities: Fuzhou, Putian, Quanzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou. It is the fastest economical growth area in Fujian province. Due to the geographical, climatic and artificial factors, it is running short of water, which becomes a block for the development of local economy and society. Therefore it is worthy on both theory and practice to construct water save society on this area, improving the nature environment and the efficiency of water use.This article made the researches on constructing water save society on the southeast of Fujian, finding out the way for using water resource efficiently along the coast area, releasing the intense relationship between water usage and the development of economy and society, then making some suggestions on how to construct water save society on the southeast of Fujian. Firstly the author brings forward that the concept of water save society is the society which uses water source very efficiently. The core is the balance of water and people. By using efficiently, allocating properly and protecting effectively, the continual economic society development and nature environment would have a sound balance. Then the article introduces the four theories of water usages and the patterns of water save society in Israel and Dalian city, which provides the theoretical basis and practical gist for constructing water save society on the southeast of Fujian.By gathering data and information from Provincial Bureau of Water Resources and Provincial almanac publish company, the author states the geography and economy of SouthEast of Fujian and introduces the current status of water use in SouthEast of Fujian, points out the existing problem in current water save program and analyzes the reasons behind them. At last the author raises the proposal for constructing the water-saving society in SouthEast of Fujian.
