Research On Development Of Farmer's Professional Cooperative Economic Organization In Hunan Province

The origination and development of Farmer's Professional Cooperative Economic Organization (FPCEO) has become a major events of reform and development of agriculture and rural economy since reform and development of our country, specially household responsibility reform.Based on concepts and clarifications of FPCEO, the theoretical and practical issues related are discussed thoroughly and deeply. After the current situation and existing problems of development of FPCEO in Hunan are analyzed, an analysis and comparison of development situation of FPCEO in China and abroad is conducted. An investigation about FPCEO of Hunan Province, especially about situation and development of Orange Association in Shimen County, Changde, Hunan and Pig-raising Association in Xiangtan, Hunan is also carried out carefully. After all of this study, the background and characteristics of FPCEO of our country based on the principal of peasant's willingness and mutual-benefit is studied systematically and deeply from different aspects, both in macro point of view and in micro point of view. In order to make the development of Hunan FPCEO faster and better, a series of strategies, suggestions, methods and future development direction of Hunan FPCEO in recent period of time are proposed, not only referencing the general principal and experiences of FPCEO development in other developed countries, but also taking into account the development situation of FPCEO of our country and trend that our agriculture is going to become more and more industrialized, international, modernized and market-based.
