Research On Development And Implementation For PCM Based On UML For Electromotor Industry

Product Structure Management and Product configuration Management are important Functional modules of PDM, as well as a tool to combine other system.This paper establishes the theoretical model to achieve the product configuration management functions from the basis of product configuration, functions of product configuration and Information exchange between product configuration management and other Information Management System, based on Research present situation of Product Structure and Configuration Management as well as Research present situation of designing electromotor industry.This paper researched product configuration management functions that aimed at product data management (PDM) for electromotor industry. In this paper a model of Product Structure Management and Product configuration Management is presented .This model is based on UML, and have been accomplished. The system have achieved BOM management functions and between the mutual data share among various modules.In addition, a model is set up for process of product design in electromotor industry based on expounding the characteristic of product structure of electromotor industry. The model provides very important reference for success that PDM was brought into effect and used in electromotor industry.
