Study On The Issues And Countermeasures Of The Rural Human Resources Development Of The Three Gorges Region

Agriculture, rural areas and farmers problem is the focus of current period of social transition problems, and also the emphases and difficulty to realize comprehensive construction of a well-off society, directly related to Chinese reform, opening up and modernization drive overall success of the Chinese nation's great rejuvenation, is the key word of our party and government. the modernization of the rural and backward rural areas is the key to the China's socialist modernization and the key lies in the rural areas of human resources development. Therefore, it is meaningful and realistic to study in-depth of China's rural development of human resources related issues, and take measures to promote it.Three Gorges region is located in the central and western areas combined, in economically underdeveloped areas, its human resources grossly inadequate both in quantity and quality. Human resources of The Three Gorges region hampering seriously the economic and social development of the reservoir area in terms of quantity, quality or larger structure exists. Such as larger population base, higher density and faster growth, the population affected by the low level of education, poor health, acute shortage of high-quality personnel, the aging of the population , the gender ratio imbalance, occupational distribution unreasonable, and Minority prominent disperse phenomenon.Therefore, the overall human resources development of the Three Gorges region is the most urgent task currently, is the fundamental way to promote all-round economic and social area of the Three Gorges regional human resources development, is necessary required to promote the reservoir area's overall, coordination and continual development ,and guarantee the construction of a new reservoir socialist countryside and a harmonious society.The issues and countermeasures of the rural human resources development of the three gorges region are studied through seven chapters, based on the above settings. First of all, is a general introduction of the background of the subject, the purpose and significance of the research of the study, the actuality of domestic and overseas, analytical framework, content and research methods. Then, summarized the basic theories of the human resources development, including human resources related concepts, human capital theory and rural human resources development theory. The third chapter is to determine the nature of the human resources development of Three Gorges region. The definition of the Three Gorges region, Analysis of the importance of the rural human resources development and the special significance of human resources development of the Three Gorges region. The forth Chapter is the empirical analysis of human resources development of the Three Gorges region, with it to analysis the relation between level of income and education degree of the farmer and the contribution of the rural education investment of the three gorges region to the growth of the agriculture economy. The fifth Chapter analyzes the existent problems and reasons in the process of the three Gorges region human resources development . First analyses the actualities and issues of the three gorges region's rural human resources, then introduces the reason of the issues.
