As the continuous progress of science and technology and the developing ofeconomy, the formation of global information network and global market, and theacceleration of technological change, competition among enterprises are turning tocompetition based on time and customer demand. Providing customized productsand improving customer satisfaction is becoming an inevitable trend for a modernenterprise to pursue new competitive advantage. Supply chain based on generic billof materials with a rapid response to market demand, has been an effective way toimprove the competitiveness of enterprises under the mass customizationenvironment.On the one hand, this article describes the concept of generic bill of materials,and highlights the advantages in clarity formulation, fast response and so onthrough comparative with the traditional bill of materials. On the other hand,summarized the structure model and features of supply chain, clear the principles ofstrategic, global optimization, coordination, cost and service optimization, dynamicand innovative to build supply chain. On this basis, this article proposed method ofconstructing supply chain based on GBOM which the total revenue is defined as thespread benefits from the sales expenses and costs in the process of production andsales. Target on benefits maximizing, considering constraints in the product family,production capacity and other aspects, this article established a mixed integerprogramming model of supply chain partner selection. Designed genetic algorithmto solve the problem, and test its effectiveness and feasibility through the examples.This article designed the supply chain evaluation index system includingGBOM factors following the principle of index system. Evaluate the Supply Chainconstruction scheme based on GBOM using the fuzzy neural network whichcombining BP neural networks algorithm and fuzzy methods, the results shows thatthe scheme is effective.
