Study On Tourism Economic Impacts Of Jiuhua Mountain Resort

Tourism is a complicated economic,cultural and social phenomenon. Tourism economic impacts study is an important part of tourism impacts study. Overseas systematical study about tourism economic impact began in the 20th the 1960s, while China began in the 1980s. With the gradual localization and internationalization of tourism activity, tourism industry's status and economic effects in national economy has become more and more enhanced. Assessment of tourism economic impacts ability and economic impacts in different spatial magnitudes can offer theoretical basis for the establishment of the planning of tourism development and macroeconomic management policies, and do help to the knowledge of tourism status,the creation of favorable environment and the promotion of healthy and rapid development of tourism.As one of the four famous Buddhist mountains, one of the objectives of local government and department is to promote the development of economy from the development of Jiuhua Mountain Resort. Trough extensive fieldsurvey and various mathematical statistical analysis technology, the paper probes into Jiuhua Mountain Resort's economic impacts ability and difference economic impacts in Jiuhua Town and Chizhou City for the sake of its industry status, and put forward some measures to boost its better development and finally exert much more impacts.The paper is consisted of four charters.Chapter 1, general introduction. This part analyzes the background and significance of this paper, makes a systemic literature review on overseas and domestic researches of tourism economic impacts and introduces the methods and source of data.Chapter 2, correlative theories and influencing factors. This part expounds on some correlative conceptions,multiplier and leakage thoery. And then analyzes the factors which influence the exertion of tourism economic impacts from a subjective and objective way.Chapter 3, practical analysis of tourism economic impacts. it first introduces the general situations of the study area—Jiuhua Mountain. Next reckons on and forecasts the tourism economic impacts force's coeffient of Jiuhua Mountain Resort, and concludes that the tourism economic impacts force of Jiuhua Mountain Resort is enganced and will continue boosting up. Then assessments quantificationally its economic impacts on the dimension of Jiuhua Town and Chizhou City, including the impacts on employment,income,economic development,government revenue and industry structure, and finally brings forward six specific means to strengthen its economic impacts according to Jiuhua Mountain Resort's situation.Chapter 4, conclusion and discussion. The part summarizes the main conclusions and the shortages and work to be done for further improvements.
