In china, following the population on aging, and the improvement of people's living standard, elderly people' s expenditure conception have been changed. As a result to these three aspects, more and more elderly people have the need for traveling, which means the senior tourist market is a market with great potentiality,.In a long term, senior tourists market will be an important part of China travle market, and also provide more business opportunities to travle market. With the development of senior travel, it is not merely the opportunity that tourist enterprise seeks development to develop, the ecnomical and social profit which bring to us has been paid close attention by our society. Making research on the senior travel market, has become important and meaningful topic.At the present, even though travel agencies has concerned the senior market, for the reason of more difficulties on operating in this market and short of experiences, and also considering the exploition cost and market risk, more of them hesitate to step into this market . That is, at the present situation, the senior travle market in China is potential and not flourishing. Few travel agencis provide professional sevice and product, and travel product are not suitable to the travle demand of the elderly people. All these restriction factor limit the development of the senior travle market, and the main reason is there are some problems in the senior travel marketing, including the lack of market segment and positioning, the short of product differentiation and professional travel service, etc.These problems hinder the development of China senior travel market. Hope these tactics are helpful of solving the marketing problems and developing senior tourism market. Also hope that there will be more researchers engaging in this research.Prospect future, with the development of China senior travel market and emergence of new market trends, more and more marketing problems will be met . How to combine the characteristics of the senior travel market ,design the new marketing strategies and tactics that suitable to the development of this market, and how to carry on fulfillment to operate the senior travel professionally , distinguishing, and normally, and how to promote the development of tourism economy and create more ecnomical and social profit,and how practice will be future the research direction of the point.
