Salary and performance management are closed related with the benefits of employees and the achievement of company's goals, which are important components of human resource management system and require high levels of professional skills. Reasonable designed, competitive salary system will be able to attract, maintain and motivate high level employees, and improve the work efficiency. Effective performance management will assist company's resource deployment, assist employees increase their qualifications and accomplish their values through the performance examination and its management.In this article, we evaluated the establishment of the salary motivation system of XX Biological Science Ltd., through the research of the salary system status of XX Biological Science Ltd., and based on the salary system design program and company's strategy and current situation, designed a salary and performance motivation system that fit the requirement of the development XX Biological Science Ltd..There are six sections in this article. The first one is the background information. In which we introduced the background information and objective of this article, discussed the development of salary system, the necessary of the establishment of salary motivation system, and introduced the research methods and contents of this article. In the second part, we first basically discussed the related theories of salary management and motivation, and then analyzed the function of salary, influence factors, and common salary systems. In the third part, we introduced the basic information of XX Biological Science Ltd., its organization structure, and analyzed current salary system, and redesigned the salary system based on company's actual status. In the fourth part, aiming on the established model of salary motivation design, we introduced the preparation work of salary system design through work analysis, position value analysis, and salary survey. In the fifth part, we discussed the interconnection of the performance management and salary system, set up and managed the performance management system based on KPI. Maintained the impartiality of general employees, and utilized the flexible salary system on core technology and management personnel, and increased the motivation and competition advantages. Through these two aspects we designed the salary motivation model for XX Biological Science Ltd. In the last part, we evaluated and concluded the redesign of the salary system of XX Biological Science Ltd., analyzed its rationality, limitations and methods of improvement.
